The couches are multiplied to accommodate all the mothers who need to escape the cold of the city to take care of their children as such we became an official Baby Pit Stop certified by La Leche League and UNICEF which together with the ASL of Milan created a project to certify certain businesses in this manner. The large space downstairs has a gym with activities and courses including: baby massage, MammaFit, pregnancy yoga and for mom and baby. As in Rome, they host monthly meetings of La Leche League, as well as an Infant CPR class (mostly in English) and much more.

"Thank you so much for having opened The Milk Bar. My labour and birth (long and painful though it was) was peaceful and managable because of the information I got in your courses I attended this spring. Moreover, I walked home from the hospital with the Ergo carrier (a big hit with the pediatric nurses). Thank you for making such a place exist"  (Elizabeth, Jan 2013)

    Comments:
"The Milk Bar is a wonderful space with a great variety of products for expectant moms and babies and the owners, Kathy and Amy, are both very helpful and knowledgeable. The courses offered at Milk Bar are also fantastic. I took prenatal yoga in English with Kathy through the second and third trimesters of my pregnancy and I absolutelyloved it - it helped me to keep in shape and also learn some great breathing techniques that proved very helpful in labor! I also took the birth preparatory course (percorso di accompagnamento alla nascita) and thought it was extremely useful - the information I learned in the class prepared me very well for birth and the first few weeks with a newborn. I highly recommend the Milk Bar to all current and future moms! Its a very special place!" (AP, May 2014)

    Comments:
"I want to thank you for your unvaluable help Margaretha. Beyond your HypnoBirthing teaching skills, it is your interpersonal skills which really makes you an outstanding teacher and the course so effective. Your ability to pick up on fears and concerns even when not verbally expressed make all the difference.  Thanks to you I enjoyed a very serene end of pregnancy and was prepared for birth. What I did not expect from this course but was crucial in the end is that is empowers you to ask questions, make informed choices and be in control of how your birth should play out. Thank you so much for bringing HypnoBirthing to Italy and for being such a wonderful person inside out. It is so brave and inspiring to take a leap like this in a foreign country!" (Florence, June 2016)
