The second The Milk Bar, opened its doors in Milan at the end of October 2010. The Milk Bar (also in Rome and Turin) is the brainchild of US-born Kiersten Pilar Miller, who originally came to work in Rome on a TV series. She fell in love with a Roman and fell pregnant. When her daughter was born she was unable to find suitable nursing bras, so decided to import a range of maternity and baby products from her native New York. You can find everything from re-usable nappies to glamorous maternity wear at the store and you can also shop online.
"Thank you so much for having opened The Milk Bar. My labour and birth (long and painful though it was) was peaceful and managable because of the information I got in your courses I attended this spring. Moreover, I walked home from the hospital with the Ergo carrier (a big hit with the pediatric nurses). Thank you for making such a place exist" (Elizabeth, Jan 2013)

Il Bianconiglio Milano
Via Gaudenzio Ferrari angolo
Via Cicco Simonetta (Zona Corso Genova)
"Il Bianconglio was one of the first stores that I discovered in Milan when I arrived a few years ago. It has a great mix of new and used products, including designer baby clothing and everything that they sell second hand is in great condition. If youre shopping for big items such as a stroller or a bed and youd like to save some money, this is a great store to check out. The owners are very friendly and helpful as well which makes shopping there even nicer!" (KM, June 2014)
